A PRACTICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR SEISMIC RESISTANCE OF RURAL RESIDENCE

  • In view of the characteristics of rural residence, a new practical technology to enhance its seismic resistance was introduced for both existing buildings and new buildings. For existing buildings, the house can be strengthened with High-Performance Ferro-cement Laminate (HPFL), which can form combination ring beam, combination column and combination scissors brace. For new buildings, a new type of steel - asphalt composite isolation layer can be set in the top surface of foundation, which has advantages of good damping effect, low cost and convenient construction, and is suitable for most new buildings in rural areas.
