A PRACTICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR SEISMIC RESISTANCE OF RURAL RESIDENCE

For existing buildings, the house can be strengthened with High-Performance Ferro-cement Laminate (HPFL), which can form combination ring beam, combination column and combination scissors brace. For new buildings, a new type of steel - asphalt composite isolation layer can be set in the top surface of foundation, which has advantages of good damping effect, low cost and convenient construction, and is suitable for most new buildings in rural areas.
