Presented in this paper is a calculation formula deducted from the conjugate beam method for theside away of frame structures. With this method and by knowing the bending movements of the sidecolumns of the frame structure and substituting into the given formula, the side away of the framestrucures is obtained directly. The calculation process is extremely simple.
