A NEW METHOD FOR FRICTIONAL ELASTIC CONTACT PROBLEMS BY BEM

A BEM-mathematical programming method for frictional elastic sontact problems is proposed. This method can avoide the tiresome iteration procedure used in previous work, and if there is no unloading, only one incremental step is needed for a solution. A exemple is given to demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of the method.
