ISOTROPICALIZED OUTSIDE SINGULAR POINT METHOD FOR THE TORSION PROBLEMS OF ANISOTROPIC BAR

In this paper the outside singular point method for solving the simple torsion problemof anisotropic bar is converted into torsion problem of isotropic bar by coordinate conversion method. The Green's function of the torsion problem of isotropic bar is utilized for the outside singular point method. The stress compoments are given by inverse transform. This method is simple and needs no numerical integration. It can also save much computing time with fair accuracy.
