A TRIANGULAR ELEMENT AND TWO TRIANGULAR PRISM ELEMENTS WITH ROTATIONAL DOF

Three elements with rotational DOF are presented: a 3-node triangular element which has two translational and a rotational DOFs per node, two 6-node triangular prism elements which have three translational and three rotational DOFs per node. These elements with sample formulation do not contain any spurious zero energy mode. Numerical results demonstrate that the elements have very good accuracy.
