STUDY ON THE EQUIVALENCE STRENGTH FOR CRACK DIRECTOR OF RCC ARCH DAM

Based on the avaliable experimental for large scale speciments of concrete, a crack-equivalence fracture model is proposed for crack diector of RCC arch dam, The stress distribution in the fracture process zone is incorposated into the model .An equivalence strength for crack director of a RCC arch dam was calculated by using the proposed model The results indicate that equivalence strength can be used as the fracture criterion for crack director.
