Abstract
The tensile failure of steel fiber concrete with a crack is studied utilizing the shear-lag model of finite sub-layers in conjunction with the linear elastic fracture mechanics. The tensile failure strength is found to be in good agreement with the experimental results. Thus, the correctness and reliability of the present analytical method is verified.
