Abstract
The dynamic properties and damage of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) subjected to blast by embedded explosive is studied. The damage data of concrete targets in different experimental conditions were obtained by changing the mix proportions of UHPC and the depth of explosive. The fracture of the concrete targets was simulated by the nonlinear finite element method. The simulation results were similar to those of the experiments. The results show that hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC has higher blast resistance. The depth of embedded explosive in the concrete targets has an obvious effect on the blast resistance of UHPC.
