Abstract
With 100% recycled coarse aggregates replacement, and recycled fine aggregates and glazed hollow bead volume replacement rate as main variables, the thermal conductivity of self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete is studied. The recycled fine aggregates substituted rate is 0%, 50%, 100%, respectively, and the glazed hollow bead volume replacement rate is 60%~120%. The multiple factors effect of thermal insulation & recycled concrete are revealed, and the optimized concrete mix with excellent general performance is gained. Then the thermal performance of self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete hollow block masonry is studied. Combined with theory calculation and numerical simulation analysis, the thermal performance of self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete hollow block masonry and formal concrete hollow block masonry are compared and analyzed. The results show that: The thermal resistance of self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete hollow block masonry increases 41.9% than that of formal concrete hollow block masonry; under the condition of 230C temperature difference of indoor and outside, the formal concrete hollow block masonry temperature rise are 44.9% higher than the self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete hollow block masonry after 1 hour; the self-thermal insulation & recycled concrete hollow block masonry is qualified for 65% energy-saving with 20mm insulation mortar external rendering and 20mm insulation mortar internal rendering.
