Abstract
This study developed a system for measuring tensile creep in early-age concrete. This system is capable of performing direct tensile strength and tensile elastic modulus measurements as well. The measured tensile creep of early-age concrete was simulated by using the existing model and it was found that the measured and predicted values did not agree well. A modified tensile creep model is provided based on the B3 model, and the relaxation modulus was calculated through a rheological model, allowing accurate predictions of stress and cracking potential in field structures.
