Abstract
In order to investigate the aseismic performance of fabricated concrete T-shape exterior RC joint with precast external shells and cast-in-place core, one new-type assembled exterior joint and one parallel joint were fabricated, and cyclic loading tests of the T-shape joints were carried out. The aseismic performances were investigated, including failure modes, hysteretic property, ductility, energy dissipation, stiffness degradation. The studies showed that the new-type assembled T-joint had excellent integrity and aseismic performance, similar to those of the cast-in-place RC T-joint, and could meet the aseismic-design requirement of RC frame structure.
