Abstract:
In order to study the mechanical behavior and damage model of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) under compression-shear loading (
C-
S), 60 SFRC specimens were tested with different steel fiber volume ratio (
\gamma
) and compressive stress ratio (
k). The influence of each parameter on the shear strength and peak displacement is analyzed. The damage model of SFRC specimens under
C-
S is deduced and the evolution of shear damage is analyzed. Then the calculation formula of compression-shear strength was proposed. The results show that the shear strength and peak displacement of SFRC specimens increase with
k. As
\gamma
increases, the shear strength increases initially and then decreases, while the tendency of the peak shear displacement is not obvious. The increase of
k significantly reduces the development of concrete damage. The proposed damage constitutive model and shear strength formula prove to agree well with the experimental results.
